Walter Bressert is editor and publisher of WB Intraday Review & Forecaster and WB Trades OnLine, providing daily commentary and trade recommendations on the S&P 500 Index. He is credited with bringing cycle analysis into futures trading after becoming interested in cycles in the late 1960s. His research, focusing on quantifying cycles and combining cycles with price performance, led to the development of the Bressert Method of Cycle Analysis, which combines oscillators and timing bands. In 1974, he began publishing the HAL Commodity Cycles newsletter, which quickly became one of the largest and most popular newsletters in the business. In 1979 he joined with Tim Slater to build CompuTrac, the first computerized market analysis program available to the public. He retired from HAL Commodity Cycles in 1985 after 12 years but came back with the CycleWatch newsletter from 1991 through 1995 and developed his current software, ProfitTrader, based on his timing methodology.

Robert W. Colby is managing director of Colby Research in New York and the author of The Encyclopedia of Technical Market Indicators, Second Edition, which has become the standard reference work throughout the world for technical indicators and trading systems design. His firm develops research methods and custom investment decision-making systems for institutional and private clients. Colby also writes daily technical market analysis and strategy comments for an experimental educational service exploring investment strategy ideas for professional investors and traders. He previously was a proprietary trader at Schonfeld Securities and senior technical research analyst and vice president at Smith Barney in New York in the 1980s. A Chartered Market Technician (CMT), Colby also has been a part-time professor at New York University and New York Institute of Finance, developing several new courses.

John Ehlers is the author of the MESA program, SIERRA HOTEL and MESA BONDS adaptive trading systems and co-author of the R-MESA #1 S&P daytrader. He has degrees in electrical engineering and has retired as a Senior Engineering Fellow with one of the largest aerospace companies. A private trader since 1976, he started with fundamental analysis but, with his engineering training, quickly gravitated to technical analysis. Ehlers discovered Maximum Entropy Spectrum Analysis (MESA) while attending an information theory seminar in 1978 and quickly reduced the theory to a computer program useful for trading, starting with the earliest personal computers and enhancing the program as computers improved. His unique approach involves extensive testing on theoretical waveforms before testing against real-world data is attempted.

Joe Krutsinger began his futures and options career over thirty years ago with ContiCommodity. He has worked in most every facet of the industry and continues to be a prolific developer of trading systems. He has developed proprietary trading programs for numerous clients and brokerage firms and currently works directly with clients and brokerage firms designing custom systems. Joe has been a trading system design consultant since 1989 and teaches traders how to develop systems using state of the art system automation software.

Ruth Barrons Roosevelt has been professionally coaching traders around the world to psychological trading excellence for more than a decade and has authored three books about the psychology of successful trading and dozens of articles in numerous trading magazines. She was the founder of the Wall Street Hypnosis Center, which has assisted thousands of people to overcome unwanted habits, establish success patterns and to achieve their optimal effectiveness, and has been profiled by numerous publications and television programs. Roosevelt has traded her own money in equities and futures successfully since 1979. She is a former vice president of Prudential Securities and Thomson McKinnon. From 1981 to 1986 she headed the International Moneyline Trading Desk at Rudolf Wolf (New York). Before that she was a stock and futures broker at Drexel Burnham Lambert.

Dr. Van K. Tharp is the founder and president of the Van Tharp Institute and an international leader among professional trading coaches and consultants. Helping others become the best trader or investor that they can be has been Tharp's mission since 1982. Tharp collected more than 5,000 successful trading profiles in a 10-year study of individual traders and investors, including many of the top traders and investors in the world, and developed a model for successful trading and investing. He also developed The Investment Psychology Inventory Profile to help people better understand their strengths and weaknesses in relation to trading or investing and has produced a number of home study courses. Tharp is a certified Master Practitioner of Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP), a Certified Master Time Line Therapist, a certified Modeler of NLP, an assistant trainer of NLP and the author of three books.

Denise Shull is a popular speaker and trading coach, working with clients around the globe. She began trading with floor traders from the Chicago Board Options Exchange in 1994 while she was finishing her Master's thesis , "The Neurobiology of Freud's Repetition Compulsion," at The University of Chicago. Bitten by the trading bug, she delayed her plans for further graduate work. After running two trading desks, she returned to both speculative trading and additional study at the Mid-Manhattan Institute of Psychoanalysis. Her work in combining the two began in late 2003. A native of the Midwest, she now lives and works in New York.

Ken Wood ("Woodie") has been an icon of trading over the past 29 years   He has mastered trading using the Commodity Channel Index (CCI) patterns on the indicator, which is revolutionary in the field of technical analysis.
