In 1974, he began publishing the HAL Commodity Cycles newsletter, which quickly became one of the largest and most popular newsletters in the business. In 1979 he joined with Tim Slater to build CompuTrac, the first computerized market analysis program available to the public. He retired from HAL Commodity Cycles in 1985 after 12 years but came back with the CycleWatch newsletter from 1991 through 1995 and developed his current software, ProfitTrader, based on his timing methodology. |
